The Upper-Caste Community of Malakar

This book investigates the Malakar community and their hereditary livelihoods. With the overlapping their caste system and religion Occupation Marriage System and their transformation of the traditional handicrafts management system and the tendency of the future generation. And included a ground-based (ground zero) research which is clearly explained their social class system income and hereditary origin. Mythologically they are the Bengali Hindu upper-caste community who is the progenitor of Lord Shiva.The book “The Upper-Caste Community of Malakar” is comprehensive and easy to understand the text. At least the author hopes that this study will contribute to increasing the concept and awareness of the Malakar community and their positions of society.
