The Upside Down Dog

<p><p></p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Amigo a black retriever whose name means friend in Spanish loves having someone rub his tummy and sleeping with his favorite stuffed bear as a pillow. As he drifts off to sleep he gives a deep sigh and rolls upside down. When he's awake the dog chases all animals--actually anything with four legs. His owners don't give him many chances to chase things so he dreams about them. The problem is he always winds up in trouble. By the story's end it is hoped that he has learned that chasing animals is not a good idea. Notice Amigo's favorite bear doing something in each of the illustrations. He may be hidden or not! Is the bear real or not? It's up to you to find out.</p></p>
