Urgency of Now

The Urgency of Now: Equity and Excellence asserts that in addition to being granted access to the community college all 21st century students need uncompromised support to succeed. Success means demonstrating relevant learning for transfer and employment and timely completion of credentials. Looking to the future the authors contend that community colleges both by their past successes and future challenges are at the epicenter for determining the essential ingredients of a new student-centered system that guarantees equity and excellence.<BR /><BR />
