This study aims to identify and analyze the value of business games as a professional training tool highlighting the importance of these simulators as an instrument for training and developing university students for business activities. Topics such as employability entrepreneurship and business games were addressed and the main aim was to verify whether business games are an important tool in shaping relevant professional characteristics for young university students. Prior to this dissertation efforts had been made to approach games as a teaching and training tool but there had been no market-based monitoring of participants' activities. Instead in the empirical sphere the aim was to compile and evaluate participants' impressions of the game itself. New data available in Impacto do Jogo de Empresas Desafio Sebrae nos Jovens Universitários Macapaenses systematized in this dissertation made it possible to compare the performance of university students participating in a specific game Desafio Sebrae with that of non-participants who otherwise had similar characteristics.
