The Vampire Peasant

Vanni a target of longstanding hate since his family's demise in the 1800s finds an opportunity to escape his suffering when he is invited to a palace by an unknown visitor. However his relief is short-lived as he encounters malicious twins who surprisingly become his perceived saviors. Unbeknownst to him a dark entity named Xander lurks within and a trade-off for a better life demands a sacrifice. The internal struggle for dominance intensifies with Vanni succumbing to the encroaching darkness. The question lingers: Is Xander the cause of Vanni's prolonged pain and how long can he resist before being consumed? In the delicate balance of exchange something must be relinquished for something gained.
