The Very Small Rhino

<p>Today is Shadow Rabbit's half birthday. This is important to Shadow but his mom has forgotten. When Shadow finds a pet rock he is allowed to keep it as his present. Shadow walks his pet rock home and learns two things. It is not a rock it is a very small rhino named Roger and he is not a pet he is a friend.</p><p>When Shadow brings Roger home the Rabbit family is scared of him at first. Despite their fear and differences they show compassion for someone in need and soon make Roger part of the family.</p><p><strong>About the Author</strong></p><p>Andrew McGuckin lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and children.
