The Vine and the Branches

<p>Produced by the Marquette Univerity Institute of Catechetical Research under the editorship of Edward A. Fitzpatrick in the 1930’s the Highway to Heaven series of Religion textbooks is a breath of fresh air.  Unashamed love of the Catholic Faith is evident on every page. </p><p>Full of beautiful black and white woodcut-styled illustrations <em>The Vine and the Branches</em> is the Fifth Grade text in the series.  It covers the history of the people of God after Christ's birth.</p><p>The teacher's manuals for this series are called <em>The Religion in Life Curriculum</em> and contain not merely an answer key but an entire Religion Curriculum to accompany the textbook.</p>
