<p>According to numerous sources the <i>Bhagavad Gita</i> dates back to the 1st millennium BCE making it at least 3000 years old. It comprises several chapters of the epic poem <i>Mahabharata</i> which narrates the devastating war between the descendants of two brothers. There are many versions and translations of this renowned epic.</p><p>The <i>Bhagavad Gita</i> is an 18-chapter dialogue between the warrior prince Arjun and his charioteer Krishna symbolizing the internal struggle between self and Self. We all face this conflict in our daily lives having to choose between what we are expected to do and what we truly need to do.</p><p>The Institute of Indic Wisdom initiated Our Gita Project a weekly discussion and exploration of each chapter from multiple perspectives. As part of the team exploring <b>leadership</b> over a 20-week period this book reflects the author's personal insights from re-reading all chapters through that lens.</p><p>The format of this book follows a simple illustrative approach. Each insight is presented with a short summary. All illustrations are in Colour. Readers are offered a concise overview of the key ideas explored.</p>
