The Widow Begley's Last Stand

She was young and green when she followed her husbands dream of moving out west. They settled in Squaw Rock Idaho in 1871 trying to live a peaceful life and enlisting the Homestead Act of 1863. Yet now Minnie Begley finds herself without a family her husband and son murdered in cold blood and in the center of a land war. A beleaguered woman a powerful land baron a dashing young cowboy and a small town are all caught up in this war. Taking sides taking chances and standing up for herself and all the women of the west Minnie Begley goes face to face with some of the toughest and most savage cowpunchers the west has to offer. And somewhere amidst all this violence the love and the heartache a young woman will discover just what the spirit of the west is and how tough she will have to be to tame it.
