The Wind Blows to the East

The rapid growth of population in Europe starting with the Renaissance accelerated the Industrial Revolution which brought technological advances and wealth to the West. Initially started in England the Industrial Revolution spread throughout Europe and then later to the United States. In modern times a similar phenomenon is taking place in the East. As East Asia's population grows rapidly China India Indonesia and other nations join an already industrially developed Japan in the eastern brand of the Industrial Revolution. Suddenly the winds of progress are shifting from West to East. Suddenly the winds of progress are shifting from West to East as division demographic changes and terrorism threaten the West. The book examines the relationships between people's positive/negative outlook population growth/decline and progress/regression in the context of a struggle between the East and the West for supremacy of the world. It discusses past and current events to illustrate the relationships as well as projects the future for the next 100 years.
