The Window Wide Open | La Finestra Spalancata

<p class=ql-align-justify>In this expansive collection of poems in English and Italian the poet opens the window wide open on the universe she has experienced for the last twenty years in both Italy and the United States residing in Northern California. As a poet and chef she begins the book with thematic poems of <em>ars poetica </em>interwoven with <em>ars culinaria</em>. They are followed by poems exploring cycles of creativity and interconnection along with intuition and magic the otherworldly and more. Some of the poems were born in Italian the others in English so that all of them represent a remarkable and illuminating exchange of language and culture. In so doing the poet has opened the frame of exploration and discovery to infinite possibilities expressed through her generous heart and inquisitive mind resulting in a beautiful volume of poetry.</p><p><br></p>
