He previously served as a council member of the Shanghai Writers' Association and director of its Children's Literature Committee. With forty years of experience in children's publication editing he held positions such as editor-in-chief of Shanghai Youth Daily Good Children's Pictorial and Fairy Tale Newspaper. Initially focused on poetry he began creating Small Palm Fairy Tales in the 1980s-a unique genre blending poetry fairy tales and prose. He has published over a hundred works spanning poetry fairy tales and essays with many included in primary school textbooks and has received numerous national awards.</p><p>张秋生，著名儿童文学作家、诗人，中国作家协会会员，曾任上海市作家协会理事、儿童文学委员会主任。从事少儿报刊编辑工作四十年，曾任《少年日报》总编辑、《好儿童画报》及《童话报》主编等职。早年写诗，20世纪80年代开始创作集诗、童话、散文于一体的小巴掌童话。曾出版诗歌、童话、散文等作品百余种，多篇作品入选小学语文教材，荣获多项全国大奖。</p><p></p><p></p>
