The Wishwasher

Thirteen year old Emily bitterly resents the changes brought about by her parents recent marriage break-up. She hates her new life and is preoccupied with coping at her new school. Meanwhile her toddler sister Scarlett is happily making wishes on the old dishwasher that they inherit in the move to a smaller house. She calls it the wishwasher. The rest of the family fail to associate events with careless wishes made within the wishwashers vicinity and Emily believes she is just riding her luck when she miraculously escapes a major confrontation with the class bully and her gang. Emilys failure to recognise the machines power leads to a potentially tragic scenario involving her toddler sister. Will a self absorbed Emily be able to see through her resentment and open her mind to the possibility that their dishwasher has been granting wishes!
