The Witch Mirror and Other Tales

This is a collection of modern nightside fairy tales. These unsettling stories are inspired by the weird fiction tradition of horror writers like Algernon Blackwood H.P. Lovecraft Thomas Ligotti and Laird Barron but with pre-teen to adult readers in mind. Set in a familiar but unspecified time in a familiar but unspecified place these stories tell the adventures of two childhood friends Clara and Payton as they uncover the reality of terrible alternative dimensions while wandering through the dark landscape of our own. These stories are a tribute to childhood. And they celebrate-above all-the Autumn season: rustling leaves warped shadows and Halloween.
