He has a great love for all Aussie flora and fauna and his family but unbeknown to him is their Witchery powers till a great storm comes to their little farmlet and shakes their yellowed corrugated tin house to its very foundations. Where starts a fantastical journey with Squids older sister Lilly and his pet Guinea pig Tiny who speaks in Squeaks on their living breathing Witches couch named Chester part African elephant and part something that was before. On an adventure across the Tasman Sea to find the island of the Singing trees introducing Squid to the ways of Witchery and the quirky world of Aussie fairies.</p><p>The Witches Couch was written with a young reader in mind not to be overwhelming in its size and to be a one day fast & furious adventure that starts in the morning and is done by that afternoon that's spectacular in imagination and storyline that's just the right amount intensity & mystery to keep a child reading!
