The Witness of the Stars was written by Ethelbert William Bullinger (1837 - 1913) an Anglican clergyman theologian and author of books like Commentary on Revelation Great Cloud of Witnesses and How to Enjoy the Bible. In this 1895 work he draws on astronomy celestial charts and quotes from scripture to make a case for the existence of the gospel in the existence and configurations of the stars and constellations. The author interprets each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac in the light of biblical prophecy arriving at some fascinating conclusions. Contending that that the signs were intended as a set of celestial books he examines the meaning of each with reference to scripture and history. Bullinger's unique views are considered controversial by many but The Witness of the Stars remains a thought-provoking listen.
