The Woman and the Storm

A collection of poetry and observations from a woman in the grips of addiction and mental illness who begins to recover and find her own truths. It is a soul's journey from the darkness into the light. It is separated into three parts. The first part Thunder focuses on the darker aspects of her experience such as anger fear and hopelessness. The second part Lightning explores subjects like freedom love and hope. And lastly the observations illuminate the culmination of wisdom and enlightenment she has gained through all of these experiences.
