Cur Deus Homo (c. 1094-1098): Translated as Why God Became Man this work is St. Anselm''s major treatise on the atonement. He explains the necessity and reasons for the Incarnation and how Christ''s death and resurrection were essential for the redemption of humanity. De Veritate (On Truth): This work deals with the nature of truth and explores the relationship between faith and reason in understanding truth.
