<p> Exploring the evolution of Eastern European discourses in Asia Africa and Latin America in nineteenth and twentieth century this volume locates the mechanisms and strategies that diverse Eastern European social actors adopted when discussing the non-European world. The Eastern European perspective is not only an important addition to the study of orientalism and post coloniality but the transnational links in-between Eastern Europe show the region's importance to a global history.</p>
