The World English Bible (WEB): Exodus

The Book of Exodus is the second book of the Bible and a key narrative in the Old Testament that describes the Israelites'' departure from slavery in Egypt and their journey toward the Promised Land. The narrative begins with the Israelites suffering under Pharaoh’s oppressive rule leading to God’s intervention through Moses. God calls Moses from the burning bush commanding him to lead His people out of Egypt and deliver them from bondage.
