The World from the Eighth Grade

<p>The written world view of teenagers over a thirty-year span (1970 into the 2000s). in the San Francisco Bay Area from diverse racial and socio-economic backgrounds. The teens were from: one of the first racially integrated schools in the nation during that change in Sausalito California; students in a State-run residential care facility for the emotionally disturbed; to a Junior High School in Oakland California serving its inner-city population.</p>
