Brielle Shakespeare is a young writer who struggles with self-doubt and of course writer’s block. Of course she doesn’t actually believe she can be a true author even though she is a direct descendent of William Shakespeare even when she starts her latest story about an orphan princess named Ember set in a fantastical yet medieval England. But when a first edition copy of a Shakespeare play—All’s Well That Ends Well—goes missing when she is at the library researching for her story Brielle and her friend must step up and discover who stole the manuscript—before Brielle is considered guilty by the court
