Thelonious and Oscar

Thelonious and Johnny labelled mentally handicapped and warehoused in one of Canada's infamous and ancient institutions experienced love at first sight. But it is the 1970's and any inklings of homosexuality are considered abhorrent punishable offences. Oscar and Dave met at junior high school and fooled around off and on until homophobic Oscar put an end to it. Lost they deal with their grief in self-destructive ways. Times lurch forward some things change. People change. These four men chance to connect and unlikely friendships blossom.
