About The Book

Christians believe that the intrinsic dignity and value of human lives means that the value of each human life is identical. The Christian faith leads those who follow it to some clear-cut views about the way terminally ill patients should be treated. The issue of death and dying may be seen in theological terms as a small part of the pursuit of systematic theology or a significant part of the doctrine of eschatology. Alternatively death and dying may be seen as raising vital ethical and pastoral issues. The intension here is to integrate theological and pastoral insights to enable churches and their leaders to be more effective in dealing with the wide variety of issues arising out of the death of people linked to our churches. The theological understanding about death and dying will help to deal practical questions about the everyday reality of death and dying. Here tried to bring out the different dimensions of theology of death and dying. Here it emphasizes as dying is a process death as gift of God death is an event in our life and the hope of life after death. It clarify that without dying process there is no death without death there is no new life in Christ.
