THEORETICAL CONSTRUCT OF DETERRENCE OF THE INTEGRAL DEFENSE OF THE NATION

The purpose of the research is to generate a Theoretical Deterrence Construct of the Integral Defense of the Nation from the realist perspective of International Relations which allows promoting the relevance of the concept of deterrence considering the threats in an international system whose model of balance of power control is exhausted. The author assumes a position of the interpretative paradigm under the qualitative methodological and phenomenological epistemological approach with the phenomenological-hermeneutic method. The research is approached under the foundations of the theory of realism of International Relations the World System Deterrence Complex Thought and the Bolivarian Doctrine.
