Theoretical study of the side flow of the liquid from the channel

The monograph is devoted to the investigation of lateral outflow of liquid from the channel in the presence of formation of a stagnant and vortex zone. The problems are solved by analytical methods of jet theory in order to determine the basic hydrodynamic parameters. In particular one of the non-cavitation models of Helmholtz was studied where the formed free jet in the branching zone extends to the end of the lateral channel.
