About The Book

This work aims to demonstrate how institutions will be studied from their classical theorizations and from empirical work conducted on contemporary institutions. The guiding idea is that the opposition between a society with decaying institutions and a society around fixed institutions must be overcome by studying the social dynamics of institutions. The field of institutions will not only cover the major social institutions (State School Family...) but also apparently less crystallized institutional forms which are the subject of work in different fields of sociology (political sociology economic sociology...) (Bertrand Yves 1991). The proceedings published in this document are from the day organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Bejaia on the theme The sociology of institutions: theories and practices in an Algerian context which took place on 06/05/2018 at the auditorium of the campus of aboudaou. In fact it represents a very good pedagogical support for the module of sociology of institutions taught to students of 3éme LMD sociology.
