He trained originally as a molecular biologist and holds a doctorate in Biological Sciences. He was originally drawn to theosophy because he felt it presented a far wider scope of knowledge than studying science alone.H.P. Blavatsky was a Russian occultist and author. She founded the Theosophical Society on 17 November 1875 in New York City along with Henry Steel Olcott and William Quan Judge. She described theosophy as the synthesis of science religion and philosophy. The Theosophical Society was founded in 1875 to explore the interconnectedness of all life the universal wisdoms held in ancient religions and myths and the potential latent in human beings.
