Asthma is currently the most common chronic disease affecting children. We set out to develop an educational program for our young outpatients with asthma. In our study twenty-five patients were identified with a median age of 82.8±4 months and a predominance of males. After optimized management including therapeutic education avoidance of triggers treatment of comorbidities and delivery of an action plan improvement was noted with c-ACT for under-12s and mean ACT becoming 21.5 and 21.4 respectively.Therapeutic education can be provided in a specialized facility called an asthma school or in a confidential outpatient clinic.
