Hudson believes that autistic children do have imaginations but are unable to show or talk about them. A child with Autism has unique ways of learning and exploring the world. They have imaginations fears and creativity that many may not understand. The story follows the life of a young autistic boy who prefers to walk barefoot because he fears a stinky monster hides inside his shoes.
