Thermal Instability Analysis of Visco-elastic Nanofluids

Visco-elasticity is the property of materials that exhibit both viscous and elastic characteristics when undergoing deformation. Many common materials such as paints polymers plastics etc. behaves as visco-elastic fluids. Visco-elastic fluids have range of unlikely behaviours. Nanofluid is a colloidal suspension of nano sized particles with typical dimensions on the order of 10 nm in base fluid and was first coined by Choi. Due to this property of the nanofluid they have wide range of industrial applications especially in the process where cooling is of primary interest. The interest for investigations of visco- elastic nanofluids is motivated by a wide range of engineering applications.
