They Are Happy

This book is written on the forty days experience of staying in a tribal village. The author stayed in such a village where he doesn''t even know the language. He builds his rapport with community people and stayed in their houses shares food with them. As he does not know the language he uses the participatory tools and communicates through different charts pictures symbols and different words from different languages. This book mainly focuses on the five dimensions of the Bodo tribe i.e social cultural economic ecological and political. The author went to the village to find the developmental gaps sorrows and measures in their society but come back with a bag full of happy moments and experiences. In the words of the author: There is happiness in the air.
