Excitement is brewing when a new costume shop opens near Hams neighborhood. The shop is hosting a grand opening party and giving one hundred dollars to the best costume of the night. Everyone whos anyone in middle school is going to this party. Ham is determined to be there and to win the money so he can buy his new pet a leopard gecko. Hams parents say he cant go but he and his best friend Bucket make a plan to get there and win no matter what. Hams reputation is at stake and he really needs that prize money! Plus its an opportunity for Ham to put his irritating neighbor and classmate Foley in his place. Ham will do anything to get what he wants. But this time has he gone too far?
