A passionate philosophy graduate Winsome Lee invites us to a challenging dialogue regarding Cosmopolitanism and multiculturalism. Thick Cosmopolitanism as a social and psychological challenge for restoring social justice seems to be promising due to its unconditional support from individualistic nations. Yet the whole thick cosmopolitan claim depends upon the Western Individualistic framework and democratic thinking. If Cosmopolitanism is plausible it should have worked in the non-individualistic nations too. However this is not the case. The extensive effects from Western legality suggests that legal equality does not necessarily translate or equal to social equality. Instead it suggests that the social meaning of justice for these non-individualistic countries is meant to be hierarchical. Given the current global situation it is always tempting to conclude that probably human race is better off having a communal life style running by communalism. Thus it is feasible for us to engage into the thinking inquiry in order to try shed light for a way out for the current situation.
