The synod emphasized the necessity of moral rectitude among Christians to attain peace particularly in light of external threats. Key decrees included the exclusive right of priests to receive church tithes the limitation of each priest to one church and strictures against clergy having women in their homes. Furthermore it mandated that clerics must not wear secular clothing and established protocols for baptism underscoring the need for reverence in sacred duties.</span></p>
