Chen Junren a talented young man from Beiping came to Nanjing to visit his fianc é e Zhu Xuefu. The hot weather in Nanjing was unbearable for Zhu Junren so he invited Zhu Xuefu to go to Mount Lu to escape the heat. On the way she met the great lawyer Fang Menghu.
