<p>Rory Blas goes to New Orleans to open the Garden District house his wife Tess<br />inherited from her grandmother Emma Darling. A series of strange events and<br />dreams launch him on a journey to find evidence linking King Arthur and his<br />knights to foreshadow the Second Coming of Christ. Emma's will brings an<br />eclectic group together to carry out her mandate for the Thistle Society. College<br />friends who have gone separate ways a soothsayer and a neighbor pledge to<br />partake in a cause greater than themselves. Arthurian artifacts in Emma's keeping<br />are sent to Rome to be housed in the Vatican by the Thistle Foundation. Rory's<br />quest takes him to Rome Wales and the Holy Land. The themes of the story<br />are renewal of faith and forgiveness.</p>
