Thomas Aquinas notion of Leadership

This work uses Aquinas notion of Leadership as a philosophical foundation capable of providing solution to the wrong use of power in Africa especially in the Democratic Republic of Congo where individual human beings have been reduced to object for the satisfaction of those in authority. The aim of this work is to help leaders and future leaders in Africa especially in the Democratic Republic of Congo to understand that Leadership is a privilege to better the lives of the people not an opportunity to satisfy personal greed. The RDC needs virtues and educated leaders who are capable of building strong institutions for the good of all and promote human dignity and happiness of the people. Some causes of these crises include: misuse of power authority for personal interest misconception of the proper function of a leader especially in the Democratic Republic of Cong
