What she finds there though is a life bigger than she could have ever imagined.</p><p></p><p>Much to her surprise on her first day of exile Vitalina meets Desear Ward-a native to the land-revealing a tribe of people Vitalina never knew existed. Desear is sweet cunning and much unlike his brother Kian. Full of hatred for all exiles Kian's distrust towards Vitalina is no different. But something is coming and Kian's resolve falls away when he realizes Vitalina is the only hope to stop it. With his fast friendship and determination Desear gives Vitalina hope for the future she thought she'd lost. Meanwhile Kian's bright green eyes and hard edges lights an insatiable fire within Vitalina and fuels her fire for vengeance against the Gods. </p><p></p><p>When secrets that were thought to have been laid to rest are exhumed Vitalina must determine whether the fate of her new home is worth fighting for. </p><p></p><p>Not everything that has died will stay dead-magic and the Gods will make sure of it. </p><p></p>
