Thought Control Strategies Metacognitive Beliefs

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between metacognitive beliefs and thought control strategies with test anxiety: the mediating role of perfectionism in gifted male and female high school students in Kerman in 2017. The present study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study consisted of gifted male and female students of gifted schools in the first and second years of high school in district one of Kerman city in the age range of (12-18) years with a volume of 2400 people. According to the population size and sample size 331 people were considered based on Morgan table. Participants were randomly selected in a multi-stage cluster within each cluster.
