Thoughts and Feelings from the Heart

The Poems Contained In Thoughts And Feelings From The Heart Were Written During Four Major Periods Of My Life As I Grew From A Teenager To An Old Man. As A Young Child I Felt Shackled With Many Emotional Chains Placed Upon Me By My Family And Society. Over The Years I Slowly Freed Myself From Those Chains. During The Process I Had To Destroy Most Of My Childhood Thoughts And Images To Release The Dark Pain Of My Early Life. I Kept My Universalist Church Heritage And My Love For The Natural World But Erased Nearly All Memories Of Family And School. Once I Have Completed A Poem I Never Alter A Word. The Thoughts And Feelings Expressed In Each Poem Reflect My True Thoughts And Feelings At The Time Of Writing.
