About The Book

About the Book: This book is a collection of 50 poems written by a young poet through the autumns of 2021 and 2022. Autumn is a pensive time to reflect on the seasons that have gone past. The book is divided into five sections: Change This World Life and Regrets Memories and Under the Stars— all of which delve into the essence of Autumn. It is about the excitement in the first leaf of autumn to the melancholy that the afterthoughts sometimes bring. The poems also reflect upon the situation of war and peace in the modern world and strongly advocate peaceful means. These poems give a message of peace and equality to help create a better world for the generations to come. About the Author: Mahibah Ahmed a young poet is a grade nine student based in New Delhi India. She has deep interest in topics such as space natural sciences and literature. A voracious reader with a passion for music lyrics and rhythms she expresses her thoughts in an array of literary forms. She is fond of and inspired by the writing styles that evolved from early 19th century to the early 20th century in English literature. Through her poetry she wants to connect to people from all walks of life touch emotions and build social cohesiveness. In leisure she can be found weaving fantasies of science and the outer space or tuning her guitar.
