Thoughts of My Inner City

B. Wilder a 25 year old Atlanta native has been writing and reading poetry for over 15 years. A style familiar to that of her literary muses’ Maya Angelou and Nikki Giovanni she introduces a collection of syncopated and sometimes abrupt tempo pieces. You’ll find a variety of poetic styles in Thoughts of My Inner City which chronicles her “short” yet eventful journey. Though sometimes gripping and graphic Thoughts of My Inner City emerges as a unified ode to life love and peace. As well as a poet she serves as mentor and motivational speaker to struggling teens and children is an active member of her church and a community servant.
