Threshold Based Multiuser Switched Diversity Scheduling Schemes
English

About The Book

The concept of multiuser diversity (MUD) has been well studied in the literature and exploited in the design of channel-aware “opportunistic” scheduling schemes that control in a dynamic way how the users can access the shared air-link resources in wireless systems. This concept was originally initiated in a research work where it was shown that in order to maximize the sum capacity (bits/sec) of the network we should always schedule the user with the best instantaneous channel quality.
