Their experience was miserable if not more so than the Chinese themselves but they are never mentioned. Thuy is one of these. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>    Thuy's life is like a miniature picture of the fate of the innocent young girls who married Chinese men. Born in the mid-20th century and raised in the uncertain times of Vietnamese society. Thuy experienced many ups and downs during a turbulent Vietnam. Like thousands of other Vietnamese women who married Chinese men her life would change forever. </p><p>...</p><p class=ql-align-justify>Through Thuy's story it helps us remember what happened during a dark period of Vietnamese history but also at the same time awakens the love of peace in each person. It is human nature to wish for a peaceful world. To live happily together with love and hope the world can exist forever. This life is so beautiful and precious. We have to preserve it.</p><p></p>
