At times extraordinary this is a true story of Pamela Fentiman an ordinary woman who decided to drastically change her life. The book is full of light-hearted humour and adventure sailing in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The author inspires the reader with her strength of spirit that change is always possible. She provides a wonderful insight in to what it's like for a woman to follow her heart adapt to learning new skills and cope in a man's world. Now in her sixties Pamela is a published poet and has written several short stories about her travels and 'messing about on boats' but this is her first full-length novel. She puts her experience and energy in to this compelling and page-turning journey through America and on to open-ocean. The book will appeal to a wide audience not only sailing enthusiasts this love story is a really good read which I highly recommend.
