<p>One day Tihtiyas a twelve-year old Passamaquoddy girl sees a huge bird approaching the shore. As the bird comes nearer she realises it is a boat! Through Tihtiyas’s eyes we take part in the great adventure of the French as they prepare for and spend their rst winter on Muttoneguis Island (Saint Croix).
