Tim Thorne - Greatest Hits

<p>Tim Thorne (25 March 1944 - 16 September 2021) was a leading contemporary Australian poet. Author of sixteen collections of poetry founder of the Tasmanian Poetry Festival and Cornford Press Tim was a brilliant and generous polymath mentor activist and commentator who has left a profound legacy and an extraordinary body of work.</p><p>Tim's younger daughter - songwriter musician & painter Lucie Thorne - has brought together this collection of her favourite poems spanning 53 years of Tim's writing life. These <em>Greatest Hits</em> include selections from each of Tim's books as well as some previously unpublished poems.</p><p>Tim Thorne lived most of his life in Launceston Tasmania on palawa country with his wife and Comrade Stephanie (5 November 1946 - 19 October 2021)</p>
