This was a memoir of a true story of Mr. Wang who was born in 1950. It was about sociopolitical movement in China from 1966 until 2005. In the author's struggles he was persecuted and suffered a wide range of abuses including public humiliation etc. Later the author who has only middle-school diploma after six years effort was admitted by a famous university as a graduate student. Then he became a professor in the university. This book was his true story being a strong minded inspirational man.
