<p>Using digitally restored page images of six books of which were first published in 1919 1922 1889 1911 1909 and 1917 based on the adventures of <em>James Akin Jr.</em> written by himself during his travels across the Plains by covered wagon. <em>Kateri Tekakwitha</em> from a biographical account based on research by John Joseph Wynne. Account by <em>Bethany Veney</em> about her life as a slave in Virginia during the years before the American Civil War and eventual freedom. A memoir written by the stepdaughter of <em>Robert Louis Stevenson</em> about the family life of the beloved Scottish novelist. Wartime experiences of <em>Samuel Richards</em> as a soldier during the Revolutionary War and personal letters from<em> Coningsby Dawson</em> to his family during World War I are presented complete and uncut from the original published versions. Included in this edition also are digitally restored photographs that have rarely been published as well as additional biographical material.</p>
